The Lanta Island Beach Resort is a casual, rustic 'hideaway' on Lanta Yai Island. The transfer from Krabi Airport takes an hour by van and speedboat or around 2 hours by ferry.

The resort has 88 comfortable guestrooms and 30 bungalows set within tropical gardens, a few steps from the beach and about a five-minute walk away from the local shopping centre. The two restaurants serve meals from 7 am until 10.30 pm, there is a poolside bar and another at the beach that serves drinks until midnight. Once a week is Beach Party night, featuring live entertainment and dancing until midnight and on Saturday nights, guests may enjoy a sunset barbecue on the lawn.

Arrangements for jungle trekking, diving, snorkelling, fishing and kayaking as well as tours to neighbouring islands can be made at the resort.

The less active guest may prefer to stroll on the beach, laze by the pool and enjoy room-service that is available from 7 am until 10 pm.
